The Recruitment Process consists of 3 parts:
Usually the failures are not seen right away. Owing to inductive loads, capacitive loads, SMPS loads, electronic ballasts and with PWM Switching systems, the present AC Power lines are superimposed With dangerous spikes, Surges, transients, sags , RFI noise and harmonics.
SAGAS has a wide range of Isolation Transformers which delivers clean power, while safeguarding Sensitive equipment from all types of power disturbances and preventing electrical noise. SAGAS Isolation Transformers are constructed with high insulating materials and special shielding Techniques to attenuate common mode and minimizing transverse mode noise and additional Surge-suppression components and offers continuous line filtering for a full range of power line noise And increased load safety through Galvanic Isolation.

SAGAS Ultra Isolation transformers are designed with attention to capacitive coupling between two windings. The capacitance between primary and secondary windings would also couple AC current from the primary to the secondary. A grounded Faraday shield between the primary and the secondary greatly reduces the coupling of common-mode noise. This may be another winding or a metal strip surrounding a winding. Differential noise can magnetically couple from the primary to the secondary of an isolation transformer, and must be filtered out if a problem.
Isolation transformers block transmission of the DC component in signals from one circuit to the other, but allow AC components in signals to pass.
SAGAS Ultra Isolation transformers provide low inter winding capacitance and low leakage inductance as they are designed with split winding construction to give high attenuation and multiple shielding Mechanisms to reduce low capacitance.
The Ultra Isolation Transformers are available in different levels of noise attenuation capabilities. the most commonly used are 100 & 120 dB. The coupling capacitance between primary and secondary is direct 1:1 relationship with dB levels. Some of the graphs herewith indicate different types of electrical noises observed in typical Engineering Industries & successfully eliminated.

SAGAS K-Rated Transformers address the problems caused by non-linear loads and harmonics. they also compensate for stresses on a transformer’s winding insulation which prevents insulation breakdown and premature failure. The K Rated transformer is suitable for nonlinear load with high harmonic. It is designed with Zig Zag construction which nullifies the harmonic current.
K-factor is defined as a ratio between the additional losses due to harmonics and the eddy current losses at 50Hz.
K-Factor is defined as a ratio between the additional losses due to harmonics and the eddy current losses at 50Hz. It is used to evaluate transformers for nonlinear loads. Transformers with a rated K-factor of 4, 7, 13, 20 and 30 are available.

The SAGAS MPPT is well suited for both professional and consumer PV applications including automatic lighting control. Its charging process has been optimized for long battery life and improved system performance. This product is epoxy encapsulated for environmental protection, may be adjusted by the user via four settings switches or connection to a personal computer, and has an optional remote meter and battery temperature sensor.
The function of a MPPT is analogous to the transmission in a car. When the transmission is in the wrong gear, the wheels do not receive maximum power. That's because the engine is running either slower or faster than its ideal speed range. The purpose of the transmission is to couple the engine to the wheels, in a way that lets the engine run in a favorable speed range in spite of varying acceleration and terrain.
Let's compare a PV module to a car engine. Its voltage is analogous to engine speed. Its ideal voltage is that at which it can put out maximum power. This is called its maximum power point. (It's also called peak power voltage, abbreviated Vpp). Vpp varies with sunlight intensity and with solar cell temperature. The voltage of the battery is analogous to the speed of the car's wheels. It varies with battery state of charge, and with the loads on the system (any appliances and lights that may be on). For a 12V system, it varies from about 11 to 14.5V.
In order to charge a battery (increase its voltage), the PV module must apply a voltage that is higher than that of the battery. If the PV module's Vpp is just slightly below the battery voltage, then the current drops nearly to zero (like an engine turning slower than the wheels). So, to play it safe, typical PV modules are made with a Vpp of around 17V when measured at a cell temperature of 25'C. They do that because it will drop to around 15V on a very hot day. However, on a very cold day, it can rise to 18V!
